Fish species
The 50 new species across 10 zones — spawn conditions, preferred bait, what they drop and what those drops build.
The fifty new species, grouped by the water they live in. Alongside them sit the thirty fish Hytale already ships, which are described by this same schema rather than kept as a separate starter set — eighty species, one set of rules.
Fish are mostly not food. Around a fifth are straightforwardly edible; the rest are crafting materials, bait, aquarium stock, quest targets, trophies, or actively dangerous. The Drops column is what feeds the component recipes, and that loop is what makes the species list and the tackle catalog one system rather than two.
